Responsibilities
Manage Salesforce application deployments (Metadata) and coordinate release activities
Provide L2/L3 production support for build, deployment, and infrastructure operations using GitLab
Monitor production systems for performance, availability, and stability; proactively resolve incidents
Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
Troubleshoot and resolve build/deployment failures in real-time
Automate repetitive operational tasks with scripting and DevOps utilities
Administer source control and artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus, Artifactory)
Support cloud infrastructure environments, including setup and patching
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
Participate in on-call rotations and weekend production support
Maintain documentation for build, release, and operational processes
Qualification
Required
Strong background in DevOps, Build & Release Management, and Production Support for Salesforce deployments
Expertise in CI/CD automation, infrastructure management, and deployment orchestration
Hands-on experience with GitLab, Nexus, or Artifactory
Familiarity with cloud platforms
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Willingness to work second shift, on-call, and weekend releases
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, Prometheus, etc.)
Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
