They are seeking a Summer Business Intelligence Analyst Intern to support the Logistics Data Management team in managing logistics data, ensuring compliance, and maintaining reporting tools for internal customers.

Responsibilities
Help to ensure that shipments made by Applied Materials and our suppliers are compliant to our routing guides
Capture and report the tracking details for all our shipments
Manage the data capture, audit, and payment of our logistics invoices – transportation, brokerage, and crating
Manage the in-house reporting tools that contain all this information, for the use of our internal customers
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in SQL and/or Python
Hands‑on exposure to Tableau or Power BI
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data cleaning, lookups)
Familiarity with Databricks or similar cloud analytics platforms
Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems / Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering
Ability to manage large datasets and combine information from multiple sources
Ability to support ongoing analytics needs, including maintaining dashboards, recurring reports, and ad-hoc analyses
Strong communication skills
Preferred
GPA requirements 3.0 and above preferred
