InternThe Law Offices of Benjamin T. McLawhorn is seeking motivated candidates for Legal Internships to assist their team. This unpaid internship program lasts approximately 3-5 months and offers the possibility of further employment for the right candidate after successful completion.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Answering phones and assisting with client inquiries
Running errands for the firm
Writing basic substantive and non-substantive legal documents under supervision
Conducting legal research
Office administrative tasks
Assisting with scheduling and calendar management
Qualification
Required
Availability to work minimum 20 hours a week (approximately 3 days) in our Cary office
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or have completed a bachelor's degree. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is suggested but not strictly required for the right candidate
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Passion for law and for helping others will take you far in this role!
