Responsibilities
Lead a team of 60 engineers, managers and technicians to ensure that all maintenance, modification, configuration, inspection, and test actions are completed to support program goals
Collaborate with government and contractor leaders to support development of detailed execution plans and drive an integrated team approach to problem solving
Maintain resource forecasts and achieve cost and schedule performance goals for assigned aircraft
Drive a strong safety culture to effectively manage risk and safeguard people and property
Drive disciplined execution and process rigor to ensure compliance with applicable procedures including DCMA Instruction 8210
Qualification
Required
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 9 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in aircraft maintenance OR a Master's of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 7 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in aircraft maintenance
Must have prior leadership and/or management experience
Active DoD Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
Preferred
10 years of combined aviation maintenance or manufacturing experience
Experience with Earned Value Management
Experience in a developmental/operational test maintenance environment
Experience in a US Air Force Combined Test Force
Experience leading an aircraft operation under DCMA Instruction 8210 oversight
