Mechanical Engineering Intern (2026)
BeamSphere is offering a 3-4 month paid internship opportunity for students in engineering disciplines. The role involves assisting with research, testing, and evaluations while collaborating with professionals to contribute to meaningful projects.
Responsibilities
Assisting with various research, testing, and evaluations
Processing documentation and conducting data analysis
Conducting manufacturing audits
Attending department, team and project meetings as necessary
Assisting with process improvement projects tied to manufacturing
Collaborating with other engineers, teams and departments
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Industrial Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Construction Management, and Systems Engineering
Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
Preferred
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Strong interest in manufacturing, process improvement, or product design
Skills or coursework in areas such as CAD/3D modeling, machining, data analysis, Lean/continuous improvement, or automation
Anticipated Graduation of May 2027
