Responsibilities
Collaborate with factory workers to develop lean processes and tools
Maintain operation process sheets to current requirements
Make systematic improvements to drive manufacturing costs down
Review 1st time yield and test failures and work with cross-functional team to implement improvement actions
Characterize process failures using relentless root cause investigations implementing corrective actions and mistake-proofing
Collaborate with design engineering on engineering changes to improve producibility and cost
Collaborate with quality to streamline production processes and requirements
Identify and implement improvement and automation projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
2+ years' manufacturing engineering experience with a focus on shop floor/lean activities
Proficiency with MS Office 365, particularly MS Excel, required
Training in shop floor/manufacturing safety
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment but can also be self-directed when required
Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen
