Responsibilities
Cabling & Termination
Support and complete all scheduled data center Moves/Adds/Changes (MACs)
Perform hardware installation MACs, including device labeling, power, and network cable connectivity
Complete hardware support work orders involving MACs, certification, troubleshooting, and break-fix
Manage assets, auditing, and daily work log/ticket tracking
Provide smart-hands assistance within specified SLA response times (on-call duties may apply)
Maintain a safe and secure operating environment and report violations
Perform on-call duties as needed
Basic copper termination skills required
Mount and install racks, patch panels, fiber optic hardware, and grounding
Experience in testing and troubleshooting MMF & SMF systems (OTDR & PMLS)
Preferred 3-5 years of fiber experience
Preferred industry certifications (Corning/FOA)
Preferred data center installation experience
