Responsibilities

Conducts objective, thorough and timely investigations of incidents requiring investigation. Uses sound and appropriate interview and investigation techniques, in accordance with ODP certified investigator training and Melmark policies
Conducts thorough daily review of incidents and ensures appropriate actions are taken to assure the health and safety of the individual(s) involved
Ensures compliance with external reporting requirements in HCSIS, EIM, DDS and all other external reporting systems. External reports should be submitted in a timely and accurate manner
Oversees activities of the records department to include but not limited to compliance reporting, records release and leading dialogue with program teams to address missing/incomplete paperwork
Provides clear, succinct, thorough and well organized investigation reports
Maintains investigation reports and other documents in a neat, organized and complete fashion and ensures documents are appropriately safeguarded

Bachelor's DegreePA Certified InvestigatorIncident InvestigationCompliance ReportingExperience in DisabilitiesInterview TechniquesReport Writing

Required

Bachelor's Degree is required
Must hold a valid US Driver's license with the minimum age of twenty-one years old
Must be able to attain PA Certified Investigator certification
A minimum of four (4) years of experience in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities
