Education and Community Engagement Intern
Nashville Symphony is seeking Education and Community Engagement Interns for Summer 2026 to support the activities of their Education and Community Engagement department. The role involves assisting in planning and implementing community events, creating educational materials, and collaborating with the Marketing & Communications team.

Responsibilities
Communicating to event partners
Helping on-site with program implementation
Attending planning meetings
Promoting and documenting events in collaboration with the communications department
Assisting in the creation of supporting materials and resources
Qualification
Required
All interns must be students at accredited colleges and universities
Intern must work a minimum of 100 hours per semester or an average of 10-12 hours a week. Required hours can be increased up to 135 hours per semester if necessary for academic credit
Start and end dates of the internship can vary based on the intern's academic schedule, but must begin in May or early June and conclude by July 31st
Interns must be available to work some evenings and select weekends during the season
Interns must be high-energy, detail-oriented, team players
Internship compensation is $10/hour
Internships do not guarantee full-time positions with the Symphony upon completion
