Responsibilities
Supports engineering projects by developing software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations. Expected to supervise associate engineers on occasion
Collaborates with technical teams and utilizes system expertise to deliver technical solutions
Writes basic documentation on how technology works. Contributes clear documentation for new code and systems used
Contributes to emerging technologies to deliver business goals
Presents new ideas which improve an existing system/process/service utilizing new frameworks
Qualification
Required
Experience in software engineering and development
Ability to design, implement, and deploy software solutions
Knowledge of virtualization, micro services, SDN, NFV, and Big Data platforms and technologies
Experience in developing a full software stack
Understanding of system protocols and data flows
Ability to conduct tests and inspections
Experience in technical writing and documentation
Ability to collaborate with technical teams
Willingness to continuously learn new technologies
Ability to contribute to emerging technologies to deliver business goals
Ability to present new ideas for process improvement
