Responsibilities

Define and lead the strategy for data exchange between Epic and third-party systems
Lead HL7 and FHIR integration initiatives within an Epic environment
Develop and manage project and program plans aligned to scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations
Define project resourcing, anticipated costs, risk assessments, and quality standards
Lead cross-functional project teams with accountability for delivery, communication, and organization
Monitor project progress and manage assigned resources
Identify, track, and resolve project issues and risks
Prepare and deliver regular project and program status reports
Maintain ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders
Provide operational, technical, and organizational guidance to project teams
Manage and mentor assistant directors and junior-level project managers, as applicable
Coach and support PMO staff and project teams

Required

7+ years of IT project management experience
Minimum of 4 years leading HL7 and FHIR integration projects in an Epic environment
8–10 years of overall IT program or project management experience
Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to develop and manage project documentation, including scope, schedules, budgets, and quality plans
Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and diplomacy
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in information technology, with emphasis on planning, coordination, and cross-organizational collaboration
Candidates must be local to the Greater NYC area
US citizenship is required

Preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
Experience working in a hospital or healthcare organization
Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
Prior experience managing Epic application initiatives at scale
