Responsibilities
Write and edit CNC programs for milling machines and lathes
Use CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA)
Read blueprints and technical drawings, including GD&T
Set up machines (select tooling, fixtures, speeds, feeds)
Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, CMM, etc
Troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes
Work with engineering on design improvements
Document programs and setup procedures
Qualification
Required
Strong CNC programming experience (milling and lathes)
Experience with Fanuc or similar CNC controls
Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
Experience using precision measurement tools
Knowledge of tooling, machining processes, and lean manufacturing
Experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment
