Power Platform Developer

PCI Professional Services is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support CDC programs by designing, developing, and maintaining low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and maintain solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse to support CDC business and IT processes
Automate workflows related to program management, governance reporting, compliance tracking, data calls, and operational support
Develop dashboards and reports to support portfolio management, performance tracking, and decision‑making
Work with CDC program staff, IMAT, and business stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements
Translate business needs into secure, scalable Power Platform solutions that align with federal standards and CDC operating procedures
Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and governance forums as required
Develop and maintain data models, integrations, and reporting solutions using SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL-based sources, and other enterprise systems
Ensure data integrity, quality, and appropriate access controls across applications and reports
Support data management activities for both IS-managed and non-IS-managed assets
Ensure solutions comply with EPLC, FISMA, CDC OCISO, HHS, and OMB security and privacy requirements
Support system documentation and artifacts (as applicable) for security authorization, change management, and governance reviews
Ensure all solutions meet Section 508 accessibility requirements
Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures
Provide end-user training and ongoing support for Power Platform solutions
Troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and support continuous improvement of deployed solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
3–5 years of hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
Experience supporting business process automation, data management, and reporting solutions
Experience working in a federal government environment, preferably with CDC, HHS, or another federal agency
Strong proficiency with Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑Driven)
Strong proficiency with Power Automate (cloud flows, approvals, integrations)
Strong proficiency with Power BI (datasets, reports, dashboards)
Experience integrating Power Platform with SharePoint Online, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365 services
Familiarity with SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and web-based technologies
Understanding of federal IT security, privacy, and governance requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear documentation and interact effectively with federal stakeholders

Preferred

Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
Prior experience directly supporting CDC, ATSDR, or other public health programs
Experience supporting EPLC deliverables
Experience supporting governance boards or IT portfolio management
Experience supporting compliance reporting and data calls
Experience with SharePoint administration or development
Familiarity with workflow tools such as Nintex or similar automation platforms
Experience working in Agile or hybrid federal project environments
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL‑400)
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL‑200)
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL‑900)
Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC‑900)
Training or certification related to EPLC
Training or certification related to FISMA / federal IT security
Training or certification related to Section 508 accessibility
Agile, Scrum, or Project Management training (e.g., PMP, CSM)
Prior experience working with CDC, HHS, or another federal agency supporting IT systems, compliance, governance, or data management
Familiarity with CDC processes, OCISO requirements, and public health program environments
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust – High Risk clearance
