Senior Program Specialist (5662033)
The State of Missouri is seeking a Senior Program Specialist to lead programming for older adults and caregivers. This role involves overseeing information and referral services, managing contracts for Senior Independent Living Programs, and coordinating services with various agencies across the state.

Responsibilities
Lead the Information and Assistance and No Wrong Door work for the bureau to ensure that Missourians access the programs and services they need to help them age with dignity
Lead the Older Americans Act Supportive Services funding oversight for housing, home modifications, and assistive technology programming
Program lead for the Senior Independent Living Programs across the state
Contract and grant oversight for these programs including providing oversight and technical assistance to contractors, performing monitoring on contract funds and required deliverables, and developing training and education for contractors as needed
Represent DHSS and the needs of older adults and caregivers at various stakeholder meetings, conferences, and events
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college OR four or more years of professional experience working in the social services field with vulnerable populations
Experience working in customer service, with grants or contracts, or providing training, outreach, or education, helpful
A desire to work with older adults and caregivers to provide information and referrals to assist them to live their best lives
