Responsibilities
Design and build a scalable QA framework in Azure Databricks to validate data accuracy across the Cyber Data Warehouse
Develop and maintain QA-focused ETL pipelines that ingest, process, and analyze large volumes of security data
Validate data flows across raw, transformed, and curated layers within a medallion architecture
Partner with QA analysts and data engineers to test ETL code and datasets throughout the SDLC
Implement automated data quality checks to detect defects, anomalies, and transformation issues
Create mechanisms to generate and track JIRA tickets for ETL defects requiring remediation
Act as a technical liaison between Information Security Data Operations, IT teams, and enterprise data engineering partners
Provide timely updates on sprint progress and support Agile ceremonies and delivery commitments
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in data engineering, data quality, or QA-focused data roles
Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data validation and ETL development
Proven experience working with Azure Databricks in large-scale data environments
Cloud data pipeline experience using tools such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or similar platforms
Deep understanding of data quality frameworks, QA automation, and ETL validation strategies
Experience working with medallion architecture and enterprise Data Lakehouse implementations
Familiarity with Agile SDLC processes and collaboration within sprint-based delivery models
Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical teams and business stakeholders
