Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain high‑traffic, responsive web applications for digital booking experiences
Build, debug, and document front-end components running in cloud environments
Develop and implement unit tests and end‑to‑end tests
Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps, QA, and other engineering teams
Contribute to architecture discussions and recommend technical solutions
Research and evaluate new technologies for applicability
Provide detailed estimates for assigned tasks
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and best practices
Mentor junior developers when required
Support omnichannel experiences (web, mobile, kiosk, etc.)
Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups
Provide operational support as needed
Qualification
Required
Angular (primary framework; heavy front-end focus)
JavaScript & TypeScript
Ecommerce or booking platform experience (e.g., travel booking, cruise/airline reservation systems, ticketing flows)
4+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on responsive web apps and APIs
4+ years of full‑stack experience using Angular and TypeScript
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.)
Experience building applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
Ability to pass a coding assessment
Strong communicator; able to work across product, architecture, and engineering organizations
Curious, adaptable, and capable of learning fast
Scrappy and resourceful in ambiguous or fast‑moving environments
Collaborative, friendly, and team‑oriented
Preferred
React (team transitioning to React within ~12 months)
Experience in travel/airline environments
Prior work on complex booking funnels or reservation workflows
