Release Train Engineer
Talent Groups is seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead large-scale, technically complex Agile Release Trains. The role focuses on driving Lean-Agile excellence across programs while coaching and mentoring various teams.
Responsibilities
Lead large-scale, technically complex Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
Drive Lean-Agile excellence across programs
Coaching and mentoring teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and leadership in Lean-Agile principles and practices
Proactively identify, manage, and resolve cross-team impediments at scale
Effectively engage and present to executive leadership
Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building capabilities
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ years of experience serving as a Release Train Engineer (RTE), leading large and technically complex ARTs
7+ years of hands-on experience working within Agile frameworks in fast-paced, high-demand environments, including hybrid delivery models (Scrum, Kanban, and traditional project/program management)
Proven track record of coaching and mentoring teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and leadership in Lean-Agile principles and practices
Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, manage, and resolve cross-team impediments at scale
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and present to executive leadership
Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building capabilities
Active Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), ICAgile Team Facilitator (ATF), SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), or equivalent
