Responsibilities
Effectively manages product and engineering team to achieve results by providing appropriate direction, timely developmental feedback and coaching, and conducting performance reviews and conversations. Monitors and measures work tasks to ensure deliverables are provided on time and within budget
Manages both technical relationships with assigned vendors, including driving features and function requests for inclusion in future product releases
Drives continuous development practice improvements across technical disciplines (e.g. team structure, roles, processes, tooling, security & compliance)
Interviews and hires qualified team members, striving to improve T-Mobile bench strength and augmenting product or project teams with contract staff when required
Qualification
Required
Experience in managing product and engineering teams
Ability to provide direction, feedback, and coaching to team members
Experience conducting performance reviews and conversations
Ability to monitor and measure work tasks to ensure deliverables are provided on time and within budget
Experience managing technical relationships with vendors
Ability to drive continuous development practice improvements across technical disciplines
Experience in interviewing and hiring qualified team members
Ability to improve team strength and augment teams with contract staff when required
