Responsibilities

Collaborate with the development team on new features for our web applications using Ruby on Rails and JavaScript
Investigate bugs, diagnose issues, and implement fixes
Perform maintenance tasks as required to ensure system functionality and reliability
Participate in sprint planning sessions and other agile rituals to gain insights into the project development lifecycle
Write clean, well-tested code that adheres to our coding standards and best practices

Qualification

Required

Experience using MVC frameworks, like Ruby on Rails
Experience with front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON/XML data formats
Understanding of databases (SQL) and experience with ORMs like ActiveRecord
Familiarity with testing practices (TDD, unit testing)
Excellent communication skills and team player attitude
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
Web application development experience
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development best practices
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues effectively
