Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend and full stack applications using Python
Build and support RESTful APIs and data-driven services consumed by internal platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and risk requirements into technical solutions
Integrate relational databases, third-party services, and cloud components into application workflows
Support application testing, debugging, and deployment through CI/CD pipelines
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices around performance, security, and maintainability
Qualification
Required
8+ years of hands-on software development experience
Strong expertise in Core Python with experience building scalable applications
Hands-on experience with Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Solid SQL experience, including complex queries and data analysis tasks
Exposure to JavaScript-based front-end technologies, preferably React
Experience working in cloud environments; Azure experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Containers, or similar components
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in agile teams
Preferred
Exposure to Azure Databricks and PySpark (notebooks, workflows, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog) is desirable
Background in financial services with exposure to risk management concepts is highly preferred
