Responsibilities

Oversees purchasing, expense tracking, and order processing using internal controls and reconciliation practices
Manages office supplies, inventory, and asset control, coordinating funding needs with program leadership
Serves as liaison between MD Anderson departments and Harris Health, supporting functional processes and interacting with multiple leadership levels
Communicates with vendors regarding equipment and service orders
Provides initial credentialing and re credentialing support for clinical and non clinical oncology staff
Coordinates clinic, inpatient, and on call schedules
Ensures standardized business cards, stationery, and promotional materials for all personnel
Supports the Program Manager and Regional Operations Director, including onboarding assistance
Acts as backup KRONOS timekeeper
Coordinates multidisciplinary conferences, maintaining CME credits and annual documentation
Maintains the MD Anderson and Harris Health faculty and staff master list along with documentation for required for immunization and mandatory trainings
Assists with events at MD Anderson and LBJ Hospital
Organizes monthly faculty meetings, including agendas and minutes. and employee recognition activities

Required

Bachelor's degree
Four years of experience in a professional administrative capacity, to include at least one year in a coordinator/lead role
Administrative support experience that includes coordinating meetings, working on projects, handling timekeeping, and performing other administrative tasks
Ability to multitask, work independently and as part of a team, think analytically, solve problems effectively, communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, and demonstrate strong organizational skills
