Experience in market making in equities and understanding of ETFs
C++ programming
Thorough understanding of market making activities, market structure, execution venues, pricing engines, exchange connectivity, hedging, automated execution
Must be a team player; we maintain everything ourselves and expect everybody to help with various tasks like databases, linux, various setup, testing, etc
Production support; this is not a job where candidate seats in a cubicle writes code and never sees the final product; we own and support all our systems – it’s a front-desk trading technology job
