Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain clinical research databases tailored to study protocols and project needs
Perform accurate data entry from multiple systems, including electronic medical records
Ensure data integrity through routine audits, quality checks, and corrective action planning
Build, customize, and validate data collection tools and workflows
Generate reports and datasets to support clinical teams, research studies, and outcomes tracking
Provide training and technical support to researchers, physicians, and program staff
Maintain compliance with data privacy and research regulatory standards (HIPAA, GCP, IRB)
Support survey and ranking submissions through accurate data extraction and reporting
Optimize database performance and scalability for growing research needs
Document data processes, configurations, and quality control measures
Assist with manuscript preparation, reporting requirements, and data requests
Collaborate with regulatory and IT partners to ensure secure and compliant data operations
Lead process improvements, develop data policies, and recommend system enhancements
Serve as a key communicator for data-related updates, issues, and insights
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Health Informatics, IT, Clinical Research, or equivalent experience
2–4 years of experience managing clinical or medical research databases (e.g., REDCap)
Experience with healthcare data, EMR systems, and clinical workflows
Strong SQL skills and experience with data tools such as REDCap, SPSS, SAS, R, or similar platforms
Knowledge of scripting or programming (Python, R, JavaScript) for automation and customization
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent communication skills and the ability to train non‑technical users
Understanding of medical terminology, research standards, and regulatory requirements
Ability to create dashboards, reports, and datasets for analysis and performance tracking
High attention to detail, customer service orientation, and commitment to data quality
