Senior LevelWells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Data Quality Analyst to support data integrity, governance, and compliance initiatives across their Commercial Banking organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and regulatory readiness of data used for key reporting obligations.

Responsibilities
Ensure data integrity and adherence to regulatory reporting requirements, including FR 2052a, FR Y‑14Q/Y‑14M, CRA, and BSA/AML
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify data quality gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies
Define, document, and maintain data quality rules, controls, and associated metadata
Conduct data lineage analysis to trace end-to-end data flows across systems and processes
Maintain data documentation, frameworks, and governance standards in alignment with enterprise data policies
Partner with internal stakeholders to investigate, triage, and resolve data issues
Translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications
Perform data profiling, data modeling analysis, and metadata management
Facilitate cross-functional working group sessions to drive alignment and issue resolution
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data profiling methodologies
Expertise in data quality principles, frameworks, and regulatory reporting
Experience with data modeling, lineage analysis, and metadata management
Familiarity with major regulations including FR Y‑14Q, BSA/AML, and 2052a
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving capabilities
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to prioritize multiple initiatives
Experience leading or facilitating cross-functional working groups
Strong background in financial services, especially within Commercial Banking
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field
Preferred
Experience with data quality tools such as Ab Initio IT Express, Alteryx, Qualytics, or similar
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery
Knowledge or hands‑on exposure to AI platforms, including Tachyon, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT
