Responsibilities

Provide real-time Tier 1 operational support by monitoring wireless network systems, handling incoming calls and emails from field technicians and internal clients, and responding to first-level incidents and service requests
Configure, validate, and update network assets using CLI, EMS tools, and SAP, ensuring accurate tracking, reconciliation, and documentation of deployed and removed devices
Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues for radios and field devices during installations, removals, replacements, and upgrades, escalating complex issues to Tier 2 when needed
Document all activities, incident details, and resolution steps in BMC Helix, maintaining clear records to support compliance, reporting, and operational continuity
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and field teams to support network upgrades, device configuration management, and continuous improvement of wireless network performance

Required

Associate's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant technical experience)
Prior experience in a help desk, NOC, or technical support environment, with demonstrated ability to support internal or external clients in a fast-paced, operational setting
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to clearly document, explain, and resolve technical issues with field technicians and business partners
Hands-on experience troubleshooting wired and/or wireless network technologies, along with familiarity using ticketing systems such as BMC Helix (or similar platforms)
High attention to detail and adaptability, including experience with accurate data entry (preferably in SAP), strong documentation practices, and willingness to learn proprietary tools and utility communication systems
