Responsibilities

Code, test, and implement software solutions that meet functional and technical requirements
Develop high-performance, loosely coupled services using modern frameworks and patterns
Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure quality and deployability
Refactor code and uphold high standards for maintainability and readability
Stay current on trends in application architecture, cloud, and modern development practices
Define and maintain technical standards and procedures for consistent implementation
Collaborate with front-end/back-end developers and stakeholders to improve user experience
Review support requests and identify opportunities to prevent recurring issues
Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement; perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
Minimum of 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years building front-end and/or back-end systems
Experience with web frameworks (e.g., Angular, NodeJS), version control, CI/CD, and Agile practices
Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
Strong object-oriented design and application architecture knowledge
Hands-on experience with modern web and backend technologies (Spring, Micronaut preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Commitment to code quality, testing, and documentation
Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment
Participation in Agile development practices (Scrum/XP)
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally, if needed
Role is primarily office-based

Preferred

Familiarity with laboratories, grading, or operational technology environments
