Mid LevelCirrus Aircraft is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to improve their manufacturing and product development processes. The ideal candidate will work on a project to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality through various engineering practices.

Responsibilities
Follow all safety standards and policies and ensure a safe operating environment, including use of appropriate protective equipment and identification of potential safety concerns
Documentation Development and release through document control
Manufacturing Bill of Materials development along with ongoing administration and updates
Development and maintenance of illustrated work instructions that clearly define and show process steps and quality requirements
Development of visual management standards as it applies to tooling, conveyance, parts, operations, and layout
Development of product synchronization and process flow establishing an effective and efficient work sequence
Development and design of mixed model production lines
Devise new solutions to existing manufacturing problems
Apply working knowledge of product design and assembly to improve the manufacturing process
Mentor other engineers and technicians in best practices
Qualification
Required
Four-year degree from an accredited college in an Engineering field or equivalent
Experience with Demand Flow Technology (DFT)
Experience with Windchill MPMLink
Experience with Creo Illustrate
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
Ability to analyze complex problems and lead a systematic approach to determine root cause and corrective actions
Ability to drive projects to completion using tools and tactics to specify scope, schedule, and resource requirements
Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively with all levels of the organization in both verbal and written forms
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, drawings, and models
Proficient in Microsoft office and computer usage/application
Ability to read, write and speak the English language
High attention to detail and accuracy; Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and determine root cause of problems
Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities; objectivity and openness to others' views; positive attitude and team spirit
Support of organizational goals, objectives, and values; adherence to company policies and procedures; observation of safety and security procedures; participation in 6S program
Tactfulness and respect in working with others regardless of their status or position or the urgency of situations; Acceptance of responsibility for own actions; Integrity in following through on commitments
Punctuality in arrival times and observance of appropriate break and meal periods; acceptable attendance record and proper utilization time clocks and time off request forms

Preferred
Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering preferred
CAD software skills desired – skills in Creo preferred
Knowledge of ERP and MES systems desired
