Responsibilities
Architect & Build: Design and deploy robust Generative AI agents with advanced capabilities like persistent memory, shared state management, and multi-step reasoning workflows tailored for educational applications
Innovate: Drive the development of cutting-edge, AI-enabled web applications that redefine user interaction and learning outcomes
Integrate & Optimize: Seamlessly incorporate LLMs and multimodal models into existing platforms, ensuring optimal performance, a flawless user experience, and strict safety compliance
Ensure Quality: Establish frameworks for comprehensive agent evaluation, including rigorous testing, critical safety assessments, and performance monitoring
Collaborate & Lead: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex user needs into scalable, production-ready agentic capabilities
Mentor: Act as the subject matter expert, guiding engineers on advanced agent design patterns, optimal LLM integration, and secure system building
Qualification
Required
5+ years in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in a Senior/Staff-level capacity leading complex technical initiatives
Proven, hands-on experience building complex agentic systems (proficiency with tool calling, advanced prompt optimization, and context engineering)
Deep, practical experience integrating with LLMs, alongside strong skills in prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
Strong expertise in at least two of the following: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#
Experience deploying systems on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), utilizing containerization, and implementing robust observability tooling
Proven ability to build and deploy high-throughput solutions, including backend services/APIs that integrate with AI models and orchestrate complex workflows
Familiarity with vector databases, embedding models, and a demonstrated ability to design secure systems that safely handle untrusted code or complex user-generated content
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to autonomously drive initiatives from prototype to high-scale production
Preferred
Experience with AI Agent evaluation frameworks and scalable inference pipelines
Familiarity with open tool protocols (e.g., MCP, A2A) and browser automation
Prior experience working in the EdTech industry
Familiarity with AWS Bedrock and Strands Agents
