Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy security software (tools, libraries, and APIs) for reliable, and high-performance security infrastructure solutions catering to Google’s Production PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) systems
Collaborate with partner teams in security and across Google to foster innovation and to deliver cross-team and cross-Product Area objectives furthering Google's cryptographic security
Participate in, maintain and improve PKI engineering best practices (e.g., design reviews, production of secure and reliable solutions)
Support customers directly through requirement engagement, timely delivery, and incident resolution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in software development
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture
5 years of experience with data privacy or security systems (e.g., authentication, authorization, identity and access management, data security, public key infrastructure)
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms
3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction
Experience in C++ and Python or Go
Familiarity with infrastructure for Google-scale production services (Spanner, Stubby) and Cloud-Scale security systems
