Responsibilities

Reads and interprets moderately complex blueprint drawings and specifications to set-up and machine items to fabricate out of sequence emergent production parts as required using manual and CNC machines
Develops and revises Machine Control Data (MCD) and geometry
Assists other machinists in completing job responsibilities
Follows detailed verbal and/or written instructions

Required

3+ years of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience
1+ year of experience reading and interpreting machine code data (MCD)
1+ year experience setting up and operating Manual and/or CNC machines

Preferred

787 Program Experience
Experience in a team environment
3+ years of experience using manual mill and lathe machines
3+ years of experience setting up and fixtures, operating, and programming CNC machines with 3 and 5 axis CNC machines
3+ years of experience setting up NC/CNC machines, including probing and using dial indicators to establish set points
