Responsibilities
Design, construct, test, and implement infrastructure components that meet the specifications of the project or service request
Participates in technical design and construction activities to understand requirements and infrastructure impact
Identifies and escalates issues that impact infrastructure and application performance
Monitors systems capacity, performance, and operational health
Participates in building and maintaining disaster recovery plans and exercises
Adheres to standards and best practices, processes, and deliverables in accordance with company standards
Collaborates with team to promote re-use and develop consistent technical build, implementation and support processes
Participates in the design, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership of platforms, applications and infrastructure services
Develops design specifications and implement new hardware or infrastructure components according to requirements, specifications and standards
Perform maintenance on existing platforms or infrastructure components
Stays current with capabilities of platform and other infrastructure components
Works with Project Managers to resolve requirements gaps uncovered in design or within specifications or requirements
Prepares and shares technical documentation current for platform, service or infrastructure technical components
Adheres to change and incident management standards and expectations
Qualification
Required
5-7 years total work experience
1-3 years participating in agile development
Scrum certification, a plus
Has in-depth knowledge of state-of-the art engineering technical approaches in design, build, testing, debugging problems as required by domain
Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise
Inventory and Technical Operations Support
Low Voltage Troubleshooting and Maintenance
PC Troubleshooting and Repair
Self-starter and take initiative
Server Install and Maintenance
Strong Communication Skills
