Jr Programmer- Full Stack C# Developer

$25/hr - $30/hrQT is seeking a motivated and independent Entry-Level Full Stack C# Developer to join their team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of their established QWIC software system. This role involves working with a large code base and gaining experience across the full development stack, from SQL Server to user interfaces.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain both client-side and server-side logic for the QWIC system
Work with C# and SQL Server on the back end to manage data and business logic
Implement and modify user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery
Collaborate with team members, including the QWIC Development Lead (Ryan), to understand specific project requirements and deliver solutions
Take ownership of programming tasks, working through solutions independently while remaining available for team collaboration and support
Assist with minor updates to reporting forms developed in Visual Basic
Contribute to the ongoing stability and performance of a critical, read-only system used for data access and reporting
Qualification
Required
Programming Aptitude: A foundational understanding of programming principles and logic is essential
Back-End Development: Familiarity with C# and experience working with SQL Server databases
Front-End Development: Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
Independence: Proven ability to work autonomously, problem-solve effectively, and manage tasks with minimal hand-holding
Communication: Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Education/Experience: While a formal degree is a plus, we value practical aptitude and experience
Preferred
Experience with Visual Basic (VB) for minor report form maintenance
Familiarity with large, legacy code bases
