Responsibilities

Support instrument documentation, sustaining, training, and transfer to manufacturing
Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions
Perform assigned assembly or testing tasks in a consistent manner on electromechanical assemblies under minimal supervision
Create or modify documents such as work instructions, data records and test methods as required
Establish and maintain reports of build issues and defects
Identify process discrepancies or difficulties and collaborate with Engineering teams on improvements
Participate in daily or weekly meetings where tasks are assigned or monitored

Required

High school diploma, GED or equivalent relevant work experience
Typically requires 2-4 years relevant experience
Experience working with detailed instructions and guidance from engineering staff
Communication skills

Preferred

B.S. / B.A
Experience working in a laboratory environment or clean room
Communicate well with supervisor and other employees at all levels
Experience with SOPs, DHRs, ECOs, GLP and GMP
Experience with computer applications such as excel
Experience with electronics assembly work or soldering
