Responsibilities
Serves as the Architectural interface, lead, and manage Architectural staff in Greenville office
Delivering results primarily by influencing and leading others by optimizing performance and productivity
Provide Architectural leadership for Design / Design-Build projects
Review and approve rendered images/videos, construction document production (drawing and specifications) as well as marketing material for project pursuits
Provide and deliver required deliverables for construction document milestones
Improve development of drafting templates and libraries for Design workflows
Experience in construction means and methods especially in the application of technology on a range of project size and complexity
Demonstrated abilities and deep experience in preconstruction, field management and construction processes
Inform Director of Department performance and profitability on a timely basis
Lead internal design efforts and ensure consistency with firm-wide design standards
Must have credibility and drive; be a self-motivator that can get things done
Must be a good communicator, well spoken with the ability to express themselves in written form as well
Acts in a manner of integrity that demonstrates support for the company values and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations
Exhibits commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes and make necessary changes, using customer input to make improvements, and meeting/exceeding internal and external customer expectations
Have multi-disciplinary fluency in architectural design, engineering, preconstruction processes and construction processes

Oversee the completion of any outstanding issues with Owner and Consultants through design completion

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Architecture
15+ years of experience in the A/E Building Design & Construction industry
10+ years of experience in Management
R.A. in South Carolina, with capability of reciprocity in other states
Experience in construction means and methods especially in the application of technology on a range of project size and complexity
