Responsibilities

Design experiences, interactions, and applications that support effective collaboration within immersive environments
Develop and support methodologies for effective integration, visualization, and dissemination of 3D data sources
Stay current with immersive technology and software development trends
Develop engineering and technical documentation
Lead the development and prototyping of hardware and software-based solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Game Design/Development, or a similar field
Minimum 2 years of professional/academic software development or engineering experience
Programming generalist, with experience in some/all the following: C#, C++, JS, Python, VBA
Team-based software development, troubleshooting, and deployment
Extended Reality (XR) application development
Knowledge of CAD programs and data translation services
Demonstrate superb communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Comfortable with communicating at all levels in the company
Extensive knowledge of Unreal with Blueprinting experience

Preferred

Autodesk VRED
WebGL
Arduino/Microcontrollers
Familiarity with 3D CAD applications, primarily CATIA
Familiarity with PLM applications
Familiarity with data translation software such as PiXYZ and Theorem
Game engine performance optimization – 3D data decimation, LODs, data culling, etc
Graphics programming – rendering, shader scripting, OpenGL, etc
Have operated 3D printers and similar equipment
Have Unity experience
