The role involves ensuring that concrete products meet ACI and ASTM standards, conducting various lab tests, and maintaining quality control throughout the production process.

Responsibilities
Make sure all of the concrete going to product is correct and conforms ACI and ASTM standards and matches the mix design
Ensure the right wet set plates are installed and in the correct location
Break 7/28 day cylinders and record standards
Perform gradations, moisture's, absorption's, penetrometer and all other lab testing
Create samples from mix designs issued
Check studs, welds, and plates for acceptability
Qualification
Required
High School Grad with Tech classes a plus
Good verbal and written skills
Computer literacy (Windows – Word and excel)
Ability to maintain good attitude under stressful and changing conditions
Ability to read and comprehend prints and piece tickets
Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes
ACI and/or PCI certified or capable of becoming
Basic print reading and comprehension
Able to handle stress
Able to work long hours when needed
Must be able to climb on ladders, forms, and trailers to check set up and product
Preferred
Concrete testing experience
Concrete pouring experience
Concrete finishing experience
Blue-print reading experience
Other general construction experience
Individuals possessing current or lapsed ACI and/or PCI certifications will be considered for senior Technician status
