Responsibilities
Support various departments including, but not limited to Program Office, Finance, Design and Engineering across all Electric Boat programs
Assist in the development and maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedules and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that identify the Design, Engineering and Life Cycle support products and activities scheduled to support program objectives
Communicate and act as a liaison between Design and Engineering, Program Management and Finance to ensure that the maintenance of critical schedules is supporting the various business requirements
Gain an understanding of Engineering Planning's impact on other planning groups (Advance Planning, Detail Planning) and use that knowledge to ensure Design and Engineering deliverables are properly scheduled and delivered to support those groups
Analyze data around manpower planning and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) to support best practices and business needs
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of work experience in scheduling or planning
Strong Microsoft Office tools, including ability to analyze and manage large datasets and review metrics with all levels of management
Preferred
Previous Electric Boat Planning and/or Design & Engineering experience
Business/Finance degree
Knowledge of Manpower scheduling
Working Knowledge of Earned Value Management principles
Experience with project management software, such as but not limited to Artemis, MS Project, Primavera, Fast track etc
