Responsibilities
Reviewing construction contract documents and coordinate with subcontractors and General Contractors/Owners to gather the required information to design project sprinkler systems
Ensure compliance with applicable NFPA standards, local and national building codes, and the scope of the work based on the project documents and specifications
Work with sales to provide technical support and estimating guidance where needed
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design
Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems, fire protection regulatory standards, and state and local codes
Technical understanding and knowledge of automatic sprinkler systems and components
Strong computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software
Ability to perform work in an efficient and organized matter and maintain thorough records
Proven ability and track record of performing work in a timely manner and meeting deadlines
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills, including ability to communicate effectively, and work collaboratively among our team
Ability to professionally communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service
Preferred
NICET certification preferred
Proficiency in AutoSprink preferred
