Foundry Systems Service Specialist (Electro-Mechanical)

Sinto America, Inc. is a leader in foundry technology and material handling. They are seeking a Foundry Systems Service Specialist to manage on-site equipment installation, troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical issues, and provide training and support to customers.

Responsibilities

Own on-site equipment installation and run-off, confirming performance and safety against factory standards before customer handover
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control issues; handle emergency service to minimize downtime in foundries and automotive plants
Execute preventive maintenance schedules to improve reliability and longevity
Deliver practical operator and maintenance training at customer sites
Log service details, parts, and expenses accurately; ERP reporting familiarity (Syteline experience is a plus)
Provide remote technical support to customers and internal teams when not traveling

Required

High school diploma required
Advanced troubleshooting that goes beyond surface symptoms to identify true root causes
Fluency in electrical schematics, hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical blueprints
Strong communication skills; self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Physical: Frequent standing/sitting/tool use and communication; occasional walking and reaching; lift/move up to 50 lbs unassisted
Travel: Up to 75% domestic travel with occasional international trips. Valid driver's license and passport (or ability to obtain) required

Preferred

Associate degree or certification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
4+ years PLC experience preferred
4+ years in industrial maintenance or field service—preferably in foundry, casting, or heavy manufacturing; prior travel-based roles are helpful
