The ideal candidate will work across the application stack, building scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, front-end integrations, and data pipelines that support business-critical applications.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain end-to-end web applications across front-end and back-end layers
Build, document, and support scalable, secure RESTful APIs and backend services using Python
Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrations to support application and reporting needs
Work with databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, NoSQL, and Vector Databases to ensure efficient data access and performance
Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs and data platforms
Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and technical solutions
Provide post-deployment support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and cloud platforms
Ensure data quality, scalability, security, and performance best practices across applications and pipelines
Qualification
Required
13+ years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on Python backend development
3+ years of hands-on experience in API development, including design and maintenance of RESTful APIs (must-have)
3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including ETL processes and data pipeline development
Strong backend expertise in Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI, or Pyramid)
Working experience with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, and at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue)
Solid experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and cloud-based data platforms (Azure preferred)
Experience with Docker, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus, etc.), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Familiarity with data processing and analysis libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
Preferred
Exposure to data science or machine learning concepts
Experience with monitoring, logging, and production support in cloud environments
