Procurement Business Analyst
McLane Global is one of the world's largest food-grade logistics companies, and they are seeking a Procurement Business Analyst to improve procurement and sourcing processes. This role involves analyzing business needs, supporting system enhancements, and driving operational efficiency across the procure-to-pay lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Analyze end-to-end procurement and sourcing processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, vendor management, pricing, receiving, and invoicing
Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and compliance risks; recommend practical improvements
Document current-state and future-state workflows, business requirements, and process standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and sourcing functions
Act as a liaison between Procurement and IT for procurement-related system enhancements
Support ERP procurement modules (e.g., Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar)
Assist with system configuration, testing (UAT), and deployment of procurement enhancements
Ensure master data accuracy for vendors, items, pricing, and procurement attributes
Develop and maintain procurement reports and dashboards (spend analysis, supplier performance, savings, compliance)
Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational risks
Support ad-hoc analysis for sourcing events, audits, and leadership requests
Partner closely with Procurement, Sourcing, Finance, Operations, and IT teams
Support sourcing initiatives such as RFQs/RFPs through data analysis and evaluation
Assist with documentation, training materials, and change management for new processes or systems
Support procurement compliance requirements (contract terms, audit readiness, regulatory needs)
Help standardize procurement policies, procedures, and documentation
Ensure procurement processes align with internal controls and company standards
Qualification
Required
Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline
Over 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or business analysis
A comprehensive understanding of procure-to-pay and sourcing procedures
Experience with ERP systems such as D365 F&O, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
Proficient analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
Capability to convert business needs into precise, actionable requirements
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
Procurement & sourcing domain expertise
Process analysis & documentation
Data analysis & reporting
ERP / business systems acumen
Cross‑functional collaboration
Attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
Preferred
Experience in food, logistics, manufacturing, or regulated supply chain environments
Experience supporting system implementations or integrations related to procurement
Familiarity with Power BI, Excel advanced analytics, or similar reporting tools
Experience with vendor management, contract support, or cost‑savings initiatives
