Data Architect/Modeler
Akkodis is seeking a Data Architect/Modeler for a Contract job with a client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust data pipelines to support strategic business decisions and will work on data modeling and analytics warehouse design.
Responsibilities
Design and maintenance of robust data pipelines that feed Tableau dashboards and reports
Understand data modelling, visualization best practices, & be able to translate complex data into insights
Designing the DB schemas for their Analytics Warehouse in MS SQL
Eventually migrate to Hadoop
Qualification
Required
10+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and ETL development
Experience with Tableau
3+ years in a large enterprise environment
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi)
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling
Strong understanding of data governance and security practices
Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing long-running batch jobs
Proficiency in optimizing performance with large datasets
