Banner Engineering has been a leader in industrial solutions for over 50 years, and they are seeking a Mechanical Drafter Intern to support product designs and documentation. This internship provides hands-on experience with 2D and 3D CAD documentation while working alongside experienced drafters and engineers.

Responsibilities

Supports product designs from conception through design, sourcing, and production

Updates product models, drawings, and documentation for components and assemblies following departmental processes and standards

Works within an Engineering Department comprised of a cross-disciplinary staff of engineers

Creates assemblies and drawings using existing models for our website

Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Creo design softwareGeometric Dimensioning & TolerancingAutoCAD design softwareAdobe IllustratorWindchill PDM systemMicrosoft WordMicrosoft ExcelLearn quickly

Required

Advanced capabilities using Creo design software

Pursuing an Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Design or Drafting

Preferred

Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

Knowledge of AutoCAD design software

Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator

Knowledge of Windchill PDM system

Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Ability to learn quickly with minimal direction

Available to work full-time during the summer months with the possibility of working part time during the school year
