Responsibilities
Administer and support RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE, and Debian environments
Manage Linux systems across private and public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Support and maintain Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters (on-prem & cloud)
Lead patch management, vulnerability remediation, and quarterly security updates
Develop and maintain automation using Ansible, Shell, and Python
Perform performance tuning, monitoring, capacity planning, and system optimization
Manage VMware environments (vCenter, ESXi)
Support 24x7 operations and execute changes during maintenance windows
Maintain strict operational security standards and documentation
Qualification
Required
10+ years of Linux administration (RHEL strongly preferred)
5+ years of automation experience (Ansible, Shell scripting, Python)
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Security tools experience: Tenable/Nessus, Tanium, McAfee, Cisco AMP, Dell Secureworks
VMware (vCenter, ESXi) experience
Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Must be local to the Downey / Los Angeles area
Must be available to work at alternate site (City of Industry – Crossroads Pkwy) during election coverage periods
Onsite role – no remote option
