Responsibilities
Leads a team of configuration management specialists
Serves as the Configuration Management CM Lead or CM Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Provides configuration baseline control throughout the lifecycle of highly complex information systems as well as component software and hardware elements
Facilitates and advises the DLA Configuration Control Steering Group (CCSG) and Configuration Control Working Groups (CCWG)
Maintains allocated, functional, and physical baseline control and performs audit support
Reviews all engineering change requests to assess impact upon configuration baseline and logistics support elements
Maintains configuration control records and technical documents
Works closely with quality assurance and management representatives to ensure accurate and well-documented product baseline
Prepares directives for change authorization and implementation
Qualification
Required
Leads a team of configuration management specialists
Serves as the Configuration Management CM Lead or CM Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Provides configuration baseline control throughout the lifecycle of highly complex information systems as well as component software and hardware elements

Ten (10) years relevant experience
Experience leading or supervising a team of configuration management specialist
Expert with first-hand knowledge of the development and maintenance of DLMS or (ASC) X12 Implementation Conventions using EDIFECS SpecBuilder software
Relevant Professional certification (eg. ITIL, SAFe, SCRM, etc)
Secret clearance
Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus
Preferred
Experience operating in a Government or Military culture
Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations
Candidate must communicate effectively with team members, team lead, management, and government customer
Must have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision
