Responsibilities

Building a variety of different harnesses and often managing changing priorities from project to project, requiring mental flexibility
Building a variety of electrical assemblies including test equipment, harnesses and often managing changing priorities from project to project, requiring mental flexibility
Often assisting with new designs; working directly with engineering to determine standard processes and to vet new designs for improvement opportunities prior to production
Provide calibration support and records for equipment
Develop a DB of calibrated assets and a system to track and maintain them
Serve internal and external customers, across multiple systems and multiple platforms. Each Technician is a valued part of the chain that supports safe, affordable, and regular human spaceflight

Required

3+ years' experience with Calibration and operating calibration labs
2+ years of related experience in a lab or production environment
Experience working with a cross functional team across organizational boundaries
Excellent computer skills with MS Office suite (particularly MS Excel)
Solid understanding of the purpose and process of calibration
Outstanding written/verbal communications skills
Strong organizational skills and finely tuned attention to detail
Ability to execute complex planning and scheduling

Preferred

6+ years' experience in avionics or electronics development and electronics testing
4+ years' fabricating, inspecting, and repairing wire harness assemblies
4+ years' experience with standard harnessing tools as well as measuring and layout of assembly. Experience with wire stripping, crimping, and splicing using either manual or automated processes
4+ years' experience with using testing/trouble shooting tools such as a digital multi-meter
