Responsibilities
Plan and execute database migrations (on-prem & cloud)
Assess database readiness and develop migration strategies
Perform schema conversions and data transformations
Optimize database performance
Implement encryption, access controls, and auditing
Ensure compliance with state and federal security standards
Collaborate with application developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a Senior SQL Server DBA
1+ year experience migrating application databases between versions and platforms
5+ years of Backup & Restore experience
Strong experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Experience managing roles, permissions, and encryption
Strong T-SQL proficiency
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (Relevant experience may substitute year-for-year)
Preferred
Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)

PowerShell scripting
