Responsibilities

Ensure cloud-hosted systems are securely architected and meet DoD requirements
Review cloud security policy and recommend improvements
Provide expert guidance to program teams throughout cloud deployments and migrations
Support deployment of programs and applications to ensure compliance requirements are met
Provide guidance to assessment staff conducting cybersecurity vulnerability assessments in cloud environments
Apply knowledge of emerging cloud security threats and advances in cloud security engineering

Required

Minimum of Seven (7) years of experience securing and architecting complex IT systems
At least Five (5) years of experience in cloud environments (OCI, AWS, Azure)
Experience leading or significantly contributing to cloud security assessments, audits, or compliance reviews
Extensive knowledge of cloud security frameworks and standards (CIS Controls, NIST CSF, CSA CCM)
Cloud certification (GCP, OCI, AWS, Azure, etc.)
Experience working with enterprise DoD IT
Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief government leadership and technical stakeholders

Preferred

Experience supporting FedRAMP-aligned cloud environments
Experience mentoring junior staff and providing technical leadership
