Responsibilities
Provide advanced Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to diagnose and resolve complex network issues
Design, implement, monitor, and support network environments using Fortinet and Ruckus technologies
Configure, manage, and maintain firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, wireless access points, and related network equipment
Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation, including network diagrams, change control records, and risk assessments
Identify opportunities for improvement within the network landscape and support the design, documentation, costing, and implementation of new solutions
Collaborate with IT Project teams to deliver network components of broader IT services and applications
Ensure compliance with internal standards, best practices, and security requirements
Coordinate and support network-related projects, including work with external vendors and partners
Partner closely with Group IT teams to deliver reliable and high-quality network services
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or network administration
Strong expertise in LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, switching, routing, firewall configuration, and network security
Extensive experience with Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager
Solid knowledge of Ruckus Wireless solutions
Experience with authentication systems such as RADIUS and NPS
Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Decisive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time within the U.S. and internationally
Commitment to company policies related to environmental, health, and workplace safety standards
Preferred
Experience with PRTG and ServiceNow is a plus
