Responsibilities
Lead engineering projects from concept through completion, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management
Contribute directly to design engineering activities: creating 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and performing FEA analyses
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (controls, manufacturing, procurement, quality) to ensure seamless execution
Interface with customers and vendors, serving as the technical and program liaison
Prepare and maintain project documentation, BOMs, and progress reports
Drive problem-solving efforts and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance and reduce costs
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards in all deliverables
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Design Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Proven ability to manage engineering projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication
Proficiency in CAD software and SolidWorks
Experience with manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly, automation)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
PMP certification or similar project management training is a plus
